Summer Driver's Ed Class Information for Discovery High School Students For students who are interested in taking the Driver Ed class this summer, we have the forms available in our office. There will be a meeting those students interested at the Newton Conover High School Cafeteria on June 7th at 3:30 PM. In order to be eligible for Driver Ed, students must be at least 14 1/2 and less than 18 years of age. They also must be a resident student in the Newton-Conover City Schools District, and they must have a working email address and Internet access since the course is offered online. Students who previously enrolled in the class, but did not complete it, must pay a $20 fee in order to re-enroll. The Class is limited to 100 students, with the oldest students being enrolled first. Students will complete the driving portion of the Driver Ed program upon completion of the online course work. In order to enroll, students will need to bring the following to the meeting on June 7:
